Larry D. Aston, Director of Business & Customer Support with Pepco Holdings Inc./ Exelon. Larry started his 16-year career at PHI as a senior accountant in Revenue Accounting and Corporate Accounting before moving to Customer Operations. During Larry’s time in Customer Operations, he held leadership roles in Remittance Processing for Atlantic City Electric and Delmarva Power, and Customer Payment Operations and Revenue Management for PHI.
Larry is an active participant of the Network of Exelon Women Employee Resource Group, and regularly serves as a panel member for Lead, Coach and Engage Power Up and GROW Week sessions. He is also very active in his community, volunteering with Expanded Branches and actively supporting the Food Bank of Delaware, Ministry of Caring, and the Emergence Scholarship Program primarily serving disadvantaged communities in Delaware.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems from LaSalle University and a Master of Science in Management from Villanova University.
In Larry's current role he leads the Interconnection process related to Distributed Energy Resource (DER) connection and system upgrades, creating new customer and stakeholder relationships with primary focus on enhancing the customer experience. This includes managing relationships with solar developers and community solar subscribers and working with new business and billing to streamline the interconnection process.
