Ashley Lynn Qua, Senior Manager of Transportation Electrification and Co-Chair of the EV Working Group at SEPA, brings a 360 degree perspective on methods to decarbonize the transportation sector. Driving innovative solutions, Ashley Lynn is the project manager and lead researcher for initiatives which seek to unpack the equitable distribution of benefits for electrification as well as develop methods for unlocking the value of managed charging through emerging technology. Grounded in the pursuit of sustainable, equitable solutions which drive change as we seek to decarbonizethe grid, her work draws upon a decade of diverse experience.
Prior to SEPA, she helped establish ChargEVC, working to bridge the gap between environmental advocates, EVSE manufacturers, car dealers, utilities, and other key stakeholders while driving advocacy forward in New Jersey.
As a regulator at the NJ Board of Public Utilities, Ashley Lynn spearheaded the development of the minimum filing requirements for light, medium, and heavy duty EV charging infrastructure. During her time at the Board, she developed $50M+ in EV incentives for the state, which encompassed light duty passenger vehicles and charging, support for vehicles and charging for municipal and state fleets, charging for tourism locations, and targeted support for multi-unit dwellings.
